tellfilm is a production company based in Zurich, which was founded in 1997. The producers and partners are Katrin Renz, Stefan Jäger and Danielle Giuliani.The company has produced numerous feature films for the cinema, such as GLORIA!, INGEBORG BACHMANN - JOURNEY INTO THE DESERT, MONTE VERITA, BLUE MY MIND, ANIMALS, BIG AND LITTLE, HELLO GOODBYE among others, as well as TV films like TATORT – WUNSCHDENKEN, the two-part event series DYNASTIE KNIE and documentaries such as MARKUS IMHOOF – REBELLISCHER POET. Most of the films have been sold internationally and screened at festivals around the world, including the Berlinale, Karlovy Vary, Seoul, Locarno, and the Zurich Film Festival, and have won numerous awards. In recent years, tellfilm has increasingly participated in co-productions as a minority partner. These include CALCINCULO (IT-CH), with its world premiere in the Panorama section of the 2022 Berlinale, the feature film GLORIA! which had its world premiere in competition at the Berlinale 2024, and MOTHER‘S BABY (AT-CH-D), with which tellfilm was represented in competition at the Berlinale for the third time in 2025 and which was released in cinemas in German-speaking Switzerland on September 18, 2025. ICEMAN had its world premiere at the Solothurn Film Festival in 2025. The children's film PRANK was successfully released in cinemas in Germany and Austria, celebrated its Swiss premiere at the ZFF for Kids and will be released in Swiss cinemas on October 16, 2025. THE TASTERS has been in cinemas in Italy and Ticino since the end of March 2025, and in German-speaking Switzerland since June. YOU BELIEVE IN ANGELS, MR. DROWAK? celebrated its world premiere in competition at the Shanghai IFF. The feature films LOVE ROULETTE and GNADE as well as the docufiction series THE ANGEL MAKER are currently in post-production.
