Danielle Giuliani

Producer

Danielle Giuliani has been a producer and shareholder at tellfilm GmbH since February 2020.

She began her professional career as an assistant director and dramaturge at the Theater am Neumarkt in Zurich. Later she directed her own productions at home and abroad, including Städtische Bühnen Freiburg and Stadttheater Konstanz.
With the realization of several short films, she switched to film and worked as an assistant director, producer for feature films and documentaries. She was a founding member of the film production company Dschoint Ventschr AG and directed two feature films for "Das kleine Fernsehspiel ZDF".
This was followed by journalistic work for print media and, from 1997, for 3sat "Kulturzeit" and for SRF "Kultur aktuell".
From 1999-2007 she was a lecturer at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, for acting and staging. During this time she led an interregional research project with European film and art schools.

She has continuously deepened her dramaturgical know-how through various further education courses, including the Master School Drehbuch Berlin and the Entertainment Masterclass (The Format Academy for Entertainment Television).

Commission work: 1997-2003: BAK Section Film Review Committee as well as Committee for Education and Training (President). 2006/2007 Film Festival Max Ophüls Preis Saarbrücken on the selection committee.

In 2010, she became Head of Editorial at Schweizer Fernsehen SRF/Factual Entertainment. In this role, she developed several television formats. From 2018, she was Executive Producer at SRF, where she was responsible for major national projects, among other things.
