Anna und Nick wollen mal raus aus ihrem Alltag. Auch ihre Beziehung könnte eine Auffrischung brauchen. Denn Anna glaubt im Stillen, dass Nick eine Affäre mit ihrer Nachbarin Andrea hat. So fahren die beiden ins Waadtland, wo er lokale Kochrezepte sammeln und sie ein neues Buch schreiben will. Unterwegs kollidieren sie unglücklich mit einem Schaf. Danach scheint alles wie immer. Doch bald geschehen sowohl im Waadtländer Chalet wie auch in ihrer Wiener Wohnung seltsame Dinge. Was sind das für eigenartige Laute, die Anna hinter einer verschlossenen Türe hört? Sieht die Glacé-Verkäuferin im Nachbarort nicht aus wie Nicks Affäre Andrea? Und weshalb spricht die Katze, die ums Haus streicht?
