Reto Flückiger (Stefan Gubser) only wants to introduce himself briefly to his new boss in Lucerne. There comes the news of a corpse found in the Reuss river. And shortly afterwards a politician is also reported as kidnapped. Flückiger has to step in and command the task force. Together with the American exchange policeman Abby Lanning (Sofia Milos) he finds out that the two cases are connected. And suddenly every minute counts.
